Water monster

A few quick design explorations from about five or six years ago for a low budget movie project that went as fast as it came. I was super excited to explore and some really cool water creatures, but in the end I only got to scratch the surface for a few hours. The filmmakers wanted the creature to have arms so I came up with the idea of having these foldable appendages that it can retract when it’s necessary. However, that’s all about it. It wasn’t a particularly good experience.
